GOY Easy!

You were right.  You figured our College Game of the Year wouldn’t be as easy as our NBA Game of the Year when on Jan. 31 Toronto -4.5 beat Washington by 10 to cash the ticket.  Instead it was infinitely easier. Our College Basketball Game of the Year on Texas -7, all they do is WIN THE GAME BY 29 POINTS. GodsTips.com Game of the Year wins easy, so does Georgetown.  This is the kind of information you get every day at Center of the Handicapping Universe GodsTips.com

CBB

Wise Guy…

TEXAS -7 Oklahoma State

College Basketball Game of the Year

Oklahoma State has been getting destroyed on the road, getting crushed in all four real road games by an average of 16.75 points. Now they are getting less than half of that from a squad crushing teams at home by an 85.6-64.7 margin.

Remember, a young Texas team took Oklahoma State, not only to the wire, but beyond that at Oklahoma State.  They lost one of the great games this year in the closing seconds of triple overtime. Now they get them on their own court.

State is fact is off an emotional and tiring home overtime win two days ago. Remember, Texas starts four freshman, so they are better late in the year and at home. They had a five point lead late in triple OT to this same team on the road, so we look for them to continue OSU’s road misery tonight.

GEORGETOWN -9.5 West Virginia

West Virginia is in a letdown situation fresh off an upset of the No. 1 team in the country.  In fact, Tonight’s game is the final one in a brutal three-game stretch for West Virginia against nothing but ranked teams. The Mountaineers lost at home to No. 7 Pitt on Wednesday, 60-47.

Problem is UCLA had two key injuries and lack depth. They face a Georgetown team playing at home and in the midst of a seven game winning streak by a 15.6 margin.

While Georgetown played through a stretch early in the season in which the Hoyas looked very average (losing at home to Old Dominion and Oregon), lately this has been arguably the best team in the league. Georgetown’s eight wins include victims like Notre Dame, Louisville and Marquette and the Hoyas have won seven in a row since a five-point loss at Pitt.

Major….

PORTLAND +5.5 St. Mary’s

Portland has two road wins, while Portland has six home wins. The Gaels have lost three straight and 4-of-5.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN +6.5 Furman

This is one of the top sharp versus squares games.  That means most of the sharp money is going one way and most of the sucker money the other way according to our offshore, Vegas and “outlaw” contacts.  We go with the sharp money.
