Free Pick: Houston Astros

Your MLB free pick for Saturday is on the Houston Astros laying 105 to Cincinnati at BetUs

If I can get Roy Oswalt at home at a pick I'm all for it. Yes the guy is about to get traded and yes he was smacked in the ankle in that last outing in Pittsburgh making him leave after four innings but the Big O still has great stuff and is a solid enough value here.

Oswalt's previous two outings were complete money as he didn't allow a run in 16 innings of work. In fact five of the last six starts, not including that last one, have been quality starts proving how the righty has not been fazed by the imminent move to probably St. Louis or Philadelphia or possibly Los Angeles.

Opposing Oswalt will be Johnny Cueto who is very good. I also do admit that the Reds overall are a better club than the Astros, as the records certainly show, but there's something about Oswalt at home with his upside at a measly little pick than is a semi must play. Lance Berkman and the fellas are not what they once were when the Killer B's were around but this team still has enough with Lee and Pence and a few others to beat a good but far from great Cincinnati team.

I am impressed with the Reds this season as Joey Votto has exploded leading the way but on the road against Oswalt is a tall task and in the end I'll take the home 'Stros.

For more information: Another 400,000* winner today, just like Johan and those Mets in the first 5 innings yesterday. This time we go the full 9 between the White Sox and A's along with a bonus 300,000* involving the Pirates and Padres.
