Utah State the Best Aggies in the Western Athletic

How ironic? Yahoo down literally and figuratively. Stock shares of Yahoo! and the actual website were down today. Forget your Yahoo account and worry about the bank account by roughing up the bookmakers.

Bodog continues their college football outlook with the Utah State Aggies. Utah State went 4-8 (3-5) last season and will be gunning for improvement under second-year head coach Gary Anderson.

Offensively, the Aggies are set. The ranked 12th in the country in total offense last year and eight starters return, so more fireworks should be expected. Diondre Borel tossed 17 touchdowns to just four picks last year, and he can run too (11 rushing touchdowns in his past two seasons). Unfortunately, leading rusher Robert Turbin was injured in the spring and will miss the first third or so of the season.

While the offense was great, the defense was at the other end of the spectrum. The Aggies "D" was 113th in total defense, so at least there's room for improvement. Doing a better job getting to the quarterback would be a great start.

Grandmaster Sports Handicapper Joe Duffy's expert take: Well they are the best Aggies in the conference. They will finish in a dead heat with Hawaii for 5th place, though Idaho is just a notch behind.
