Today, we have two free sports pick winners from world-class sports handicappers
The first is from Matt Rivers, who was the winningest handicapper ever—nobody came close—on a large network of sites.
He says go Spurs on the moneyline. BetUs has them getting +160.
Dallas had a great regular season and may very well win this series as Dirk is a superstar and the Mavs are a talented talented team after the addition of Caron Butler. The Mavs have experience and ability and can run and gun as well as play some defense with Dirk, Butler, Kidd, Terry and a few others. But with that said and in a smallish comp situation why not take back around 170? The Spurs can't win this game?
I understand that Greg Popovich' team is not as young as it used to be but the big three is intact right now with Duncan, Parker and Ginobili and even if George Hill is now hurt there is enough still there for the visitors to steal game one.
The Spurs are the Spurs, a veteran team that has much experience as any team has pretty much ever had. These guys are not your usual seven seed and are up against a Dallas franchise that may be loaded with potential but also loaded with numerous memories of past chokings and failures. Mark Cuban's boys have been as disappointing as any when the chips are down and even if that proves not to be the case this season I can't help but force the Mavs to come up somewhat big in a large spot.
The season was not great for San Antonio as there is some regression going on but a lot of that had to do with the numerous injuries and in this one game situation there is no reason why either team can't walk off the court as the victor so I'll pass up the points and take my chances with the juicy moneyline.
The pick: San Antonio +160 at SportsBook
For more information: I truly have no earthly idea how Dwyane Wade and the Heat could shrivel up the way they did in the final 19 or so minutes yesterday but it happens as the NBA can be extremely cruel at times. It's been a lot more winning than losing of late and that will come to fruition one more time today. Four huge plays including a major 400,000* between Oklahoma City and Los Angeles. Three bonus plays: 200,000* Charlotte-Orlando, 100,000* Colorado-Atlanta and LA Angels-Toronto. Click now to purchase

Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers (-8) – Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET
Oklahoma (50-32, 48-34 ATS) showed some signs of slowing as the regular season wore down. The Thunder closed things out with a win over lowly Memphis, but they were just 2-4 in their last six games. The team struggled on NBA odds, too, with a 3-4 run in its last seven games against the spread. Oklahoma City has lost two straight games against the spread when playing away from home, but is still a respectable 6-4 ATS in its past 10 road games.
The Lakers (57-25, 34-46-2 ATS) didn't exactly set the world on fire down the stretch, either. Los Angeles is 4-7 in its last 11 games, and only one of those wins could be considered of great quality (LA beat Sacramento, Minnesota, Utah and Houston). The Lakers have lost three straight games against the spread and are 4-6 in their past 10 games on NBA odds. The Staples Center should be renamed the Nightmare Center for sportsbook bettors; LA is 2-7-1 ATS in its last 10 games there.
