Spurs vs. Mavericks, Thunder vs. Lakers NBA Spreads and Picks

NBA odds and free picks for Tuesday, April 27 from ScoresOddsPicks.com

NBA betting fans have lots to choose from this evening as four match ups—three of them elimination games—tip off. One of those games takes place between the Spurs and Mavericks, as San Antonio has grabbed a 3-1 lead. The only game that isn't an elimination scenario might be the best; Kobe Bryant and the Lakers host Kevin Durant and the Thunder with the series tied 2-2. Here are your free picks:

Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers (-6) – 10:30 p.m. ET

The Thunder have won two straight in this series, including Saturday's 110-89 romp in Game 4. Oklahoma City is 4-1 in its last five games against the spread, including three consecutive victories on NBA odds. The Thunder have dropped their last three games against the spread when playing on the road, though, including Games 1 and 2 in Los Angeles. Oklahoma City has lost its last five road games straight up.

The Lakers have dropped back-to-back games. They're just 4-6 in their last 10 games. Los Angeles has been even worse at the sportsbook, covering just once in its last seven games; in fact, they've dropped three straight on NBA odds. Although the Lakers have gone 8-2 straight up in their last 10 games at the Staples Center, they're just 3-7 against the spread in that span.

Homecourt advantage has worked straight up in this series, but not against the spread—all the momentum belongs to the Thunder, who will keep it rolling.

Pick: Oklahoma City

San Antonio Spurs at Dallas Mavericks (-5) – 9:30 p.m. ET

The Spurs have shocked just about everyone—especially the Mavericks—and won three straight games. Game 4, a 92-89 Spurs victory, was a push; still, San Antonio is 4-2-1 in its last six games against the spread. Wins at the sportsbook have been a little higher to come by on the road, though, as the Spurs are 2-3 in their last five games away from home. They covered their most recent game in Dallas, though.

Dallas, of course, is on the losing end of three straight losses. The skid has completely sapped all the momentum from a recent six-game winning streak both straight up and the sportsbook; Dallas hasn't covered in three straight (0-2-1 ATS). The Mavericks had won three straight games both straight up and on NBA betting lines before last week's 102-88 loss to the Spurs in Game 2.

The Mavericks may be on the brink, but they won't go down without a fight—especially at home. They'll cover and live to fight another day.

Pick: Dallas
