Chicago-Minnesota UNDER 43

It's a fairly high total, yet it's one of the ugliest quarterback battles of the year. There is no question that Chicago's defense will be quite fired up after Minnesota's run game humiliated them in their previous meeting.

However, it makes no sense for Minnesota head coach Brad Childress to outsmart himself and put the ball in the air. Minnesota's offensive strength is running, their quarterback is a glaring, though slowly stabilizing weakness, but they will be going against the most motivated unit on the field.

Meanwhile, Minnesota is the most talented run defense in the league. So the Bears should test their pass defense, right? Well Kyle Orton is making his first start since 1995. Do you think somebody who was the backup to Brian Griese and Rex Grossman is going to light up the scoreboard?

In fact, in doing anything to avoid a repeat in which they gave up 311 yards rushing in the previous meeting, we look for the Bears to play keep-away.
